Back to fly after 1 year off
I'm getting ready to complete my instruments rating. it has been a year. New school, airport, instructor, airplane. The airplane feels a little bit looser than I remember from the previous C172 that I was flying. The speed indicator is in MPH, then memorizing new numbers.
I had some problems keeping the airplane trimmed. I was not aggressive enough to stall the airplane in landing configuration. I'm still figuring out the horizon references with the dashboard.
Holding at SBJ was overwhelming with all the chatter on the radio, the wind corrections. Not perfect but acceptable work . Coming back, no problem to slow down and align with the runway. I floated a lot but I needed a little help of my instructor. Here is the flight log
