This is not the first book that I have read in aviation, but will be my first entry in this blog. If you are an airplane owner, this is a must, and maybe the first book that you should read. This is an easy and delightful book to read just under 100 pages, that can be enjoyed quickly. In its 12 chapter, 1 prologue and 1 epilogue, Mike uses the scientific method, his experience in walking us thru the differences between commercial operation of aircrafts and owner-operated general aviation. He is clear in providing the data why he recommends what he recommend. His understanding of the human factors driving the behavior of mechanics and owners is outstanding. He gives us detailed tips and clear examples how to be a better airplane owner, regardless if we are heavy invested in the maintenance or not.
